I'd really like to push that to at least 75hz, although I've seen people push this same laptop to 90-95hz no problem. By PCGamer on July 09, 2021 83 Nitro 5 AN515-58-50YE model display is dim at max brightness. Hello, my friend recently bought this model under my suggestion because it was advertised as a 300nits display (so same nits as my Legion 5). But since using it for a week she repopted that the display looks dim even at max brightness. Just wondering what I could suggest to help her Okay so here's my problem: My Acer Nitro 5 AN515-45 arrived yesterday. When connecting my 240Hz monitor (AOC AGON AG251FG) to the laptop (via HDMI, because my Nitro 5 only has an HDMI output) everything works out fine until I try to set the refresh rate of my monitor from 144Hz to 240Hz.Upon doing that, its screen goes black as if theres no signal until the change is automatically or manually I purchased for my adult son in June 2018, the gaming Acer Nitro 5 and by early October 2018, the left side, lower monitor started pulling apart, within 2 days the screen was dead, but the computer turns on and keys are lit. I spent $900.00 for this computer. It this under warranty by Acer. What can I do to remedy this issue. .
